  • Auditorium, Conference Room, Kitchenette
  • Capacity: 150 persons
  • Facility Rental (2 hour minimum): $130/hr ~ Security deposit: $250
  • Facility Staff: $30 per hour
  • Cleaning Fee: $100 (floors and bathrooms)
  • Meeting Room: additional $25 per hour
  • 8:00 am - 10:00 pm (music must cease by 9:15 pm)
  • Included in rental - 150 chairs; 20 5ft round tables & 6 8ft x 3ft rectangle tables

Pioneer Park Bandstand

  • Capacity: 300 persons
  • Bandstand Rental (includes facility staff): $160 (1 hour), $300 (2 hours), $430 (3 hours)
  • Security Deposit: $250
  • 8:00 am - 9:00 pm (times my vary)
  • Tents/Awnings prohibited
  • Alcohol is prohibited in outdoor areas

Steilacoom Community Center

  • Auditorium, Commercial Kitchen, Stage
  • Auditorium Capacity: 300 persons
  • Facility Rental (2 hour minimum): $190 per hour for groups up to 200; groups of 200+ require 2 Staff Attendants
  • Facility Staff Attendant: $30 per hour
  • Security Deposit: $250
  • Cleaning Fee: $150 (floors and bathrooms)

Sunnyside Beach

  • Covered Picnic Area
  • Reservations are for cookshack area only.
  • Tables, barbecues, and other amenities are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Facility rental (2 hour minimum): Steilacoom Resident $10/hr up to 50 guests
  • Facility rental (2 hour minimum): Non-Resident $25/hr up to 50 guests
  • Resident $100/day for 0-200 guests
  • Non-Resident $150/day for 0-200 guests
  • $350/day for 200+ guests (may require special use permit)
  • Steilacoom Schools: FREE
  • Non-Resident Schools: $50 per day
  • May require special event permit
  • Use caution when near the railroad tracks
  • No vehicles are allowed across the RR tracks
    • $5/vehicle parking fee for non-residents.
    • 8:00am - 9:00pm (park closes at 10:00 pm)
    • Alcohol is prohibited in outdoor areas


Rental Policy

  1. All fees must be paid in full 10 business days prior to the day of the event. No refunds will be given for poor weather or adverse conditions. Reservation fees are not refundable. Your security deposit and completed contract will confirm your reservation. This deposit will be refunded within 10 business days after your event provided all contract policies are observed.
  2. Town of Steilacoom Noise Ordinance #1074 is strictly enforced for all events.
  3. If alcohol is served at our indoor venues, you must provide a Banquet Permit as well as a Certificate of Liability Insurance. The documenter a true copy thereof must be received by the town at least 10 business days prior to the event. Alcohol is not permitted in public parks.
  4. When decorating, you may use masking tape, painters tape or fun tack only. You may not use scotch or duct tape, nails, tacks or staples in our facilities at any time.
  5. If candles are used, they must be placed in fireproof containers that are higher than the candle flame (Fire Code Regulations).
  6. An attendant or security personnel will be present to help guests observe these policies.
  7. No fireworks or incendiaries of any kind are allowed on town property.
  8. The presence of animals, excluding registered service animals, is prohibited at our indoor venues.



Deposit Refund Policy

Deposits will be refunded in full provided there is no damage to Town facilities, renters are in and out within their contracted times, Town ordinances are followed, and cancellation fees do not apply. All payments on Sunnyside Beach are final and not eligible for refund.


If cancelling prior to your event, part or all of your deposit may be withheld: 

$50 fee with more than 60 days notice, $100 with 30-60 days notice, the entire deposit $250 will be kept if reservation is canceled fewer than 30 days prior to the event. Reservations on Sunnyside Beach are nonrefundable.

If no payment has been received within a week of an event and no response has been made to attempts to contact the renter, the reservation will be cancelled and the deposit retained.
